The women behind Nido
Every woman carries stories that shape her becoming. Ours began separately, then wove together.
We met as coaching students, but quickly found something deeper, a shared way of listening, supporting and holding space for each other. That space became our nest, our nido: a place to land and a place to rise from. With time, our hearts knew this nest was meant to open.
Nido is the outward expression of what we lived privately: a sanctuary for women in transition, in transformation, in truth. A soft place to land, a strong place to grow.
Ulrike Uhrig (call me Uli)
I have held space for women at moments of transformation - moments filled with possibility, vulnerability, courage, and truth - for more than twenty years. Long before I knew the word coaching, I was living its essence as a holistic midwife, guiding women through one of life’s most profound thresholds: becoming a mother. For over two decades, I supported women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the tender transition into motherhood, learning again and again how powerful it is when someone feels deeply seen, heard, and supported.
Over time, I realized that what I loved most wasn’t limited to pregnancy or birth; it was the art of listening deeply, creating safety, and helping women remember their inner wisdom.
When I returned to Berlin after many years living and working abroad, coaching became a natural continuation of that calling, an invitation to accompany women beyond the context of birth and into the many other transitions life asks of us.
Today, I support women navigating all kinds of change: becoming a mother (during pregnancy, birth and postpartum), stepping into a new identity or career, rediscovering themselves after years of caring for others, the bittersweet launching of a child into the world and any season in which old layers fall away and something new begins to emerge.
My work is grounded in my training as a certified Wayfinder Life Coach, Positive Intelligence® (PQ®) mental fitness coach and in additional trauma-informed studies - yet shaped even more by decades of witnessing women’s resilience, intuition and courage.
In my coaching sessions, I create a grounded, compassionate space, a nest true to nido, where my clients can pause, breathe and reconnect with themselves. I especially love working with women who juggle many roles, who feel the complexity of life, and who are curious about what might come next. Together, we explore with clarity, courage and a touch of playfulness, always honoring the natural rhythms of change.
I am a proud mama of three beautiful sons - Samu (22), who studies art; Max (18), who studies business and Niko (15), who still lives with me. I am slowly adjusting to having two of my babies living away from home. I understand firsthand how change can be both beautiful and bittersweet.
I coach in English, German and Spanish, a reflection of the multicultural journey my family and I have lived across Germany, the United States, Mexico and Canada.
At my core, I believe that every transition carries an invitation to grow, to soften, to realign or simply to listen and pause. I love meeting clients exactly where they are, honouring their stories and supporting them in the language that feels most like home.
Bárbara Casacuberta
Born and raised in Barcelona, I left my nest in my early twenties to explore the world, not knowing that the journey ahead would become less about geography and more about meeting myself on deeper, more authentic levels.
Living in six countries, learning new languages, uprooting and rerooting myself again and again, I discovered that every move, every risk and every reinvention was bringing me closer to my truest self. Each change carried an invitation to grow, to listen inward and to trust what felt true to me.
Following what felt authentic has been my lifelong compass, even when it meant starting over. Before finding my way to coaching, I worked in digital marketing at Google, later followed my creative instincts into entrepreneurship and opened a vegan bakery in Oslo. Each path taught me something essential: that professional success only feels meaningful when it aligns with one's essence. And through all these chapters, I kept sensing a deeper calling, one that eventually led me to the work that feels like home.
Today, I’m a Certified Wayfinder Life Coach and a Certified Grief Therapist. I support women navigating transition, reinvention or loss. My own life (becoming a mother to two daughters far from Spain, creating a family life in Norway and walking through profound losses) has shaped me into the coach I am. These tender, painful and expansive experiences taught me how to sit with change rather than resist it and how to hold space for others doing the same.
I believe that every woman carries an inner truth that becomes clearer when she feels safe, supported and truly listened to. In my sessions, I bring presence, intuition, compassion and deep inquiry to help clients reconnect with their essence, the parts of themselves that feel most alive, grounded and aligned.
Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers. Raising two daughters continues to deepen my commitment to authenticity and reminds me of the example I want to set for them: to walk my path honestly, so they feel free to walk theirs.
I love working with women who feel the stirrings of change or are navigating loss and longing. My approach isn’t about fixing, it’s about creating spaciousness to explore who you are becoming and offering steady companionship as you walk through grief.
If you’re moving through a shift, big or small, I’m here to walk alongside you, at your pace, with tenderness, clarity and truth.
